The way to attain success is not a straight road. But let’s just say if it is a straight road, it occasionally goes through the darkest forests of failures and the loneliest pathways of anxiety. Simply put, one cannot tread the path to achieve something without encountering failures, disappointments, frustrations, and tall obstacles. If Michael Ferrera today is one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the world, his journey, too, wasn’t immune from the harsh realities of life.
His entrepreneurship career started at a very young age. At age 12, Michael began selling door-to-door products without any external capital. He also used to offer personalized services in exchange for fees. It may sound laborious work, and no doubt, it was laborious work, but Michael, even as a boy, loved to hustle.
He didn’t have to do it for longer because when he turned 14, he landed in his father’s music company to assist in operational matters. While there, he did well. However, with time, he felt more inclined toward fashion since he didn’t want to go with the flow of fashion trends at the time and wanted to improvise, which he did in the longer run.
While in college, he opened his clothing line with the name of Maestro Tech and sold self-designed t-shirts, jeans, and other casual clothing. Michael simultaneously continued running the music company he’d started at 14. He managed it so well even during college that it became a lucrative business and contributed to the school as well by generating revenue for it. Eventually, at age 26, he sold the DJ company to pursue his ambitions for high-level fashion and started Michael Ferrera The Brand, a bespoke clothing business that is still in full swing.
Michael had his good and bad moments at the newly founded brand. One of them came in 2010, three years after laying the foundation when the company tripled the revenue from the previous year. However, soon after that, the over joyous faces turned pale when the service started leveling off. They failed to meet deadlines, get more clients, and grow the company continuously for two years.
The tense situation ushered in some serious introspection from the young entrepreneur, Michael. He observed what they were doing wrong and what had made them successful before. And after that, the matter was solved instantly.
Likewise, Michael has had his bad days throughout his life, including failing at three businesses and foreclosing on his home, but the good thing about him is he has always been a hustler. Rather than running away from problems, he has fought his battles and triumphed every time. He has proved that the fame and name attached to his figure are thoroughly justified.
