Through his collaboration with the scientific diving community, he has gotten Costa Rican and Mexican permits to handle large animals, including large sharks. He is proficient at underwater tagging of Sharks and Mantas while also having the expertise to assist in above-water tagging operations of sharks.
For the past few years, Jason has endowed his skills and talent as a diver and willpower as an adventurer to highlight prominent issues faced by marine life today. While working on research and documenting pelagic animals, Jason came across some of the most beautiful species threatened with endangerment and even extinction. Watching them from close, living peacefully in their habitat, has left Jason with a new sense of purpose; ocean advocacy.
